The city of angels...

Welcome to my blog. In this blog post, I will tell you more about my places that you have to visit in the city of the angels. LOS ANGELES!

SPRING BREAK! The moment I have been looking forward to the whole semester. In this post I will tell you more about things to do in Los Angeles. So, if you are making a trip to LA soon and want to hear my recommendations, here you go! Here are a bunch of different and super fun things to do while in LA.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

There are a lot of great museums and attractions in LA to check out. Personally, I liked to visit the LACMA. I went to the LACMA after sunset. Here I deliberately chose, to admire the artwork of Chris Burden's Urban Light. LACMA has showcased thousands of pieces, from Islamic artifacts to European impressionist paintings to modern art

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory sits on the south face of Mount Hollywood and overlooks the Los Angeles basin. Its location gives visitors impressive views of the surrounding area. But there's more than just a pretty photo-op here. The observatory hosts fascinating exhibitions. It is also possible to take the hike to the Hollywood sign.

Walk of Fame

The most known place in Los Angeles. This world-famous sightseeing place features more than 2,500 terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalk along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street. The five-pointed stars honor the accomplishments of actors, musicians, directors, producers and others in the entertainment industry.

Venice Beach Venice Beach's claim to fame is its boardwalk. This place is developed in the early 20th century. Venice Beach is modeled – canals and all – after its namesake city in Italy.Admittedly, the experiment didn't live up to its Italian inspiration, but the neighborhood has become distinctly Californian, embodying the spirit of the wealthy, the alternative and the just plain bizarre. Rather than towering churches and intimate pizzerias, you'll find canal side mansions near funky boutiques and restaurants.A beautiful place to walk with the sunset.

Santa Monica Pier and Beach

Santa Monica is a very walkable part of town, and many recent visitors suggest you explore the area by bicycle. One of the most scenic rides is along the 26-mile bike path, which runs parallel to the Pacific Ocean and is the longest beach bike path in the world. "State Beach," as it’s known, averages about 340 days of sunshine a year and acted as the backdrop for the popular television series "Baywatch."
